Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Tutors Link regarding your use of our platform. These terms apply to all users, including students, tutors, parents, and visitors.

By accessing or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our platform.

Account Terms

You must be at least 13 years old to use this service (with parental consent if under 18)
You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
One person or legal entity may maintain no more than one free account
You must not use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
You must not violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including copyright laws)

Payment Terms

Students pay tutors directly for tuition services
Platform subscription fees are separate from tuition payments
All payments are processed securely through our payment gateway
Subscription fees are non-refundable unless stated otherwise
Price changes will be notified 30 days in advance
Failed payments may result in service suspension
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate payment information

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Tuition session cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance
Platform subscriptions can be cancelled anytime from your account settings
No refunds for partial subscription periods unless service is unavailable
Refunds for tuition payments are subject to mutual agreement between parties
Cancelled subscriptions remain active until the end of the billing period
In case of service disruption, proportional credits may be issued
Dispute resolution must be initiated within 14 days of the transaction

User Responsibilities

Tutors must verify their credentials and qualifications accurately
Students must attend scheduled sessions or notify tutors in advance
All users must maintain respectful and professional communication
Do not share personal contact information publicly on the platform
Report any suspicious activity or policy violations immediately
Do not attempt to circumvent platform fees or contact tutors off-platform initially
Maintain the confidentiality of other users' personal information

Liability & Disclaimers

We act as a platform connecting tutors and students; we are not responsible for tuition quality
We do not guarantee specific academic outcomes or results
Users interact at their own risk; we recommend meeting in public/safe locations
We are not liable for any disputes between tutors and students
The service is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind
We are not responsible for loss of data, profits, or other intangible losses
Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for platform services in the last 12 months

Intellectual Property

All content on the platform (design, text, graphics, logos) is owned by Tutors Link
Users retain ownership of content they upload (profile photos, descriptions)
By uploading content, you grant us a license to use it for platform operations
Do not upload content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights
We may remove content that violates intellectual property rights
Trademark and brand guidelines must be followed when referencing Tutors Link
Unauthorized use of our intellectual property may result in legal action

Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of our services:

1. Informal Resolution

Contact us first at tutorslinklucknow@gmail.com to resolve the matter informally. We commit to responding within 48 hours.

2. Mediation

If informal resolution fails, parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action.

3. Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh courts.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to our services at our sole discretion, without notice, for:

•Violation of these Terms and Conditions
•Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activities
•Providing false or misleading information
•Harassing or threatening other users
•Extended period of account inactivity (24+ months)

Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. You may request a copy of your data within 30 days of termination.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. Material changes will be notified through:
